Florence at the Top of her Class

Congratulations to Florence Afari who is a second-year student at the University of Ghana studying economics. Her final semester grades were released for Spring 2018 and she received straight A’s bringing her cumulative GPA to a 3.94.

She is the second eldest of 6 and the first girl in her family to go to and through college. Her mother worked as a porridge seller but until she became ill making it difficult to support Florence. TWII foundation stepped in and are working to help help her become the first in her family to graduate college!
