HerStory Closes Women's History Month at the Screening Scholarship & Media Festival @ UPENN
On Saturday March 28th, HerStory director Sally Nuamah was able to participate in a two part film screening and dialogue discussion on gender and global contexts at the University of Pennsylvania's Screening and Scholarship Media Festival. The event featured dozens of filmmakers, poets and other artists working with digital mediums to promote social change.


University of Virginia Screens HerStory for International Women's Month
The University of Virginia included HerStory as part of it's month long programming celebrated the lives of women around the world. HerStory is proud to be a part of promoting social change on the UVA campus!


A HerStory Weekend in Chicago
This pask weekend HerStory Screened at Loyola University and at Hobert College for Women at Northwestern University. Both screenings were followed by robust discussion on gender and education in the developing world!


HerStory Screens at Rutgers Newark!
On March 3rd, director Sally Nuamah participated in the screening of HerStory at the Rutgers University Newark Campus. The screening was hosted by the Acting Dean of the Graduate School and brought out community partners from within the Newark area. After the screening, Sally got a chance to answer questions and speak to young elementary school girls about filmmaking and the importance of education.
